Tips for Making Homemade Perfume

• Basic Home Made Recipe- A cup full of chopped flower blossoms and mineral water will do. Place a clean cheese- cloth in a large bowl with its edges hanging over the bowl. Choose flower blossoms such as Lilac, Honeysuckle, Lavender or Orange blossoms and pour the mineral water over these blossoms. The flowers should be covered with water and left over night. Next morning, pull of the cheese- cloth and squeeze it into an airtight spot. Let it cool and store it in dry place. One can use this perfume for a month since its preparation
• Whispering Rain Perfume- One needs- 3 full table spoons of Vodka or Ethyl Alcohol, 10 drops of bergamot essential oil or fragrance oil, 2 cups full of distilled water, 5 drops of sandalwood essential oil or fragrance oil, 10 drops of cassis essential oil. Place all these ingredients in an airtight bottle and mix it well. Let it settle for 12-15 hours. Store the perfume in a cool dry place. Shake it properly before using it
• Homemade Orient Nights Perfume- 4-5 drops of musk essential oil, 2 full teaspoons of jojoba oil, 4 drops of sandalwood essential oil, 3 drops of frankincense essential oil or fragrance oil. Place all these ingredients into an airtight bottle and let it settle for 12-15 hours. It should be kept in dark, cool and dry place. Shake it well before using it
• Falling Stars Perfume- Take 3 tablespoons of Vodka or Ethyl Alcohol, 10 drops of Chamomile essential oil, 2 full cups of mineral water, 5 drops of lavender essential oil, 10-12 drops of Valerian essential oil. All the oils should be mixed with water in an airtight bottle and shake it gently. Let it settle for 15 hours. Shake it well before using it. Store it in a cool and dry place
• Expect a perfume to last about three years from the date it was bottled. Never store your perfume bottle where it is exposed to high temperature (near hot baths) or direct sunlight. In fact, colognes and eau de toilette should be stored in the refrigerator to increase their shelf lives.
• Amaze- 3 tablespoons of Ethyl Alcohol or Vodka, 10 drops of cypress essential oil, 2 full cups of distilled water, 5 drops of hypericum perforatum essential oil, 10 drops of rosemary essential oil. Mix all oils with amount of distilled water and place it in an airtight bottle. Let it settle for about 12-15 hours. Shake it well before using it. Keep it in a dry, cool and dark place
• Homemade Hungary Flower Water- 2 oz or 50 ml of ethyl alcohol, 5 dr Rose essential oil, 12 dr lemon essential oil, 2 dr Sage Essential oil, 30 dr Rosemary essential oil, 5 dr neroil essential oil, 2 dr mint essential oil. Easy to Make Home Made Cologne

To prepare 1 pint, around 570 ml- 8floz/225ml rubbing alcohol, 8 tablespoons dried lavender flowers, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 8 floz/225 ml purified water, 3 drops oil of bergamot.
