Make-up mistakes that we tend to do

It’s very normal to go wrong with our makeup. But don’t worry, we have got equally neat tricks  to get it right.

Wrong choice of foundation colors

We usually tend to apply colors that do not suits our skin tone. This can enhance lines, wrinkle and other facial flaws. Before doing a purchase, you should apply a little bit of it on your jaw line and cheek bones. Pick the one that goes well with your natural tone.

Avoid heavy foundation

Don’t trap your skin with a heavy make-up. This will make your skin prone to break outs , scars, pimples etc. Just try to apply a light, creamy concealed to hide your facial flaws.

Avoid cakey foundation

Cakey foundation makes you look like a mask, especially if you have used the wrong shade. Instead go for a light liquid foundation that matches with your skin tone.

Eyeliner mishap

Don’t apply thick line of eyeliner around the eyes, as it makes your eyes look smaller. Make a softer and thin line; this will make your eyes look bigger and brighter.

Painting chapped lips

It is one of the biggest makeup mistake to apply lip stick on your chapped lips. Instead use a lip balm or any petroleum jelly. But still if you want to apply lip color, then first apply some lip balm before painting it with lipstick.

Avoid over-defined lips

We have a misconception that over-defining lips make the lips look fuller. You should take a lip pencil of the same color and apply on the lip line. This add shine to your lips and gives you a defined look.
