- First and most important thing is that, you should always go for oil-free makeup and cosmetics. There are different makeup brands that make cosmetics for oily skin. So go for one of them for an effective result.
- Take a blotting paper for absorbing the extra oil from your face.
- Always remember to apply astringent before you start your makeup. Keep the astringent for some time, as this help the pores to close.You can also put some antiseptic cream prior to your makeup, as it controls the oil secretion.
- Leave your cheek color soft and natural. Avoid over doing it as it may not be good for the oily skin.You should limit shimmers only to the lip makeup.

- Foundation with titanium dioxide and kaolin clay.

- Avoid applying products that are made out of petroleum.

- Avoid products made out of dimenthicone and bismuth oxychloride, as they tend to clog the pores.
